Xiaomi has announced the arrival in Italy, after the launch in China, of the new range of Xiaomi 12 smartphones, which includes the 12, 12 Pro and 12X. Important updates from the hardware point of view, with Qualcomm’s latest generation processors, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on 12 and 12 Pro models, defined displays, fast charging and, above all, a particular focus on photography. Thanks to the updates of its artificial intelligence algorithms, Xiaomi has managed to further improve the photographic part, an aspect that is allowing the top models to achieve excellent sales results at home. All three smartphones integrate a triple camera with 50 megapixel main wide angle and recording capacity up to 8K on both Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12.
There are two technologies behind multimedia optimizations. Xiaomi ProFocus, which intelligently identifies and tracks objects, preventing blurry or out-of-focus images of moving subjects. These improvements also include autofocus for the eyes and face. And Ultra Night Video, which uses Xiaomi’s proprietary algorithms to shoot videos even with very little light, allowing you to still get clear images. The Xiaomi 12 series also enjoys the One-click AI Cinema mode, already present on the previous generation, with various options for making professional video-editing. The diagonal of the display is identical, from 6.28 inches, on Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12x, while it goes to 6.7 inches on Xiaomi 12 Pro. Smartphones are available from today in physical and online stores, in Black, Blue and Purple. These are the prices: Xiaomi 12 Pro from 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB respectively at 1099.9 euros and 1199.9 euros.
