This Monday, the self-convened teachers of San Juan decided to strike and demonstrate in the streets of the City for the fifth time, since the wage claim began. In this context, mid-morning it was learned that, teacher absenteeism in the public sphere reached an average of 85 percent.
The data showing absenteeism, released by the Ministry of Education, are divided as follows:
– Initial Level: 90%
– Primary level: 85%
– Oriented Secondary Level: 90%
– Technical Secondary: 69%
– Special Education: 90%
Private Education: average 31%
– Initial Level: 11%
– Primary Level: 49%
– Secondary Level: 55%
– Special Education: 16%
– Higher Education: 25%
State higher education
-Absenteeism: 60%
It should be remembered that this morning the Provincial government reported that, the teachers who stopped this Monday will suffer the discount for the force measures of June 2, 3 and 6.
