Tomatoes and chess January 18, 2022, 01:01 a.m. Paysandú celebrates the second edition of the national tomato tasting and will add a chess tournament

More than 100 varieties of tomatoes, with their different shapes, colors, types and flavors, can be tasted in the second edition of the National Tomato Tasting that will take place on January 28 and 29 at the Rural Association Fair Exhibition and Gastronomic Venues of the City of Paysandu.

The activity will include a variety of activities, in addition to the gastronomic ones, where the different premises will prepare varied dishes based on tomatoes, there will be tastings, tastings and show cooking.

The event will feature talks by experts who will address topics related to agroecology, live music shows by national artists and a sustainable fair with the best selection of local products.

Chess

The activity will also include a chess tournament and simultaneous games in Blitz format, challenging the local grandmasters.

In this second edition it was decided to incorporate chess as a diverse and inclusive novelty.

For children there will also be a variety of activities.
