The U-20 national team has arrived in Croatia where they are preparing for two friendly matches against Croatia U-20 and North Macedonia U-20. Coach Alban Bushi has made some forced changes to the list due to physical problems of some of the players selected by him for these matches.
Thus, Paulo Buxhelaj, Marcelino Preka, Aldi Gjumsi, Fabian Shahaj could not be ready as they did not recover in time and did not travel with the team. Meanwhile, striker Eljon Toçi, who trained for a few days with the A National Team, has joined the group, and will be available to the U-20 National Team for these challenges.
The rest of the group is in good shape and the team has been training normally in Croatia. The technical staff after having a few days available to prepare these two friendlies, as the atmosphere looks very good and there is optimism for a good performance on the field.
Today, Albania U-20 will play the first challenge with North Macedonia U-20. This match will be played at the Cakovec stadium starting at 16:30.
Two days later, on September 25 at 16:30, the second test of Albania U-20 against Croatia U-20 will be played in this stadium. With this match, the 8-day gathering of the Red and Black National team with Coach Bushi and his technical staff will be closed, who will have the opportunity to closely see the condition of the players of this age group, as well as observe the young footballers who can be part of the team for the first time.
