To save the economy, the government is relocating businesses from areas where the fighting is taking place, which ensures not only the preservation of existing jobs, but also the opening of new vacancies in existing businesses. About it reported First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko on Facebook.
“It is within the framework of supporting the creation of jobs that a program is being introduced to compensate employers for the costs of the wages of employed internally displaced persons in the amount of UAH 6.5 thousand for each such employee for two months,” she said.
Sviridenko explained that for this, the enterprise needs to conclude an employment contract with a citizen who is an internally displaced person, and register data on the employed person through the Diya portal or submit an application to the State Employment Service.
“This procedure will be in effect during martial law and 30 more days after it ends,” she said, stressing that these measures will help, on the one hand, reduce unemployment, improve the welfare of citizens, and, on the other hand, increase the economic activity of Ukrainian business.
