After extensive collective work, on September 25 the dance theater play “Qué Sabe el Pueblo?” will be presented on stage, an artistic proposal by the group from San Juan Agitando El Nido that works not only with movement, but also acting, musical and even audiovisual tools.
On stage, 14 performers will not only investigate their past and their roots, but for much of the time they will seek answers to the question “what is folklore?”, which will trigger various scenes with trips to the past, deep analysis and much dance. Each painting will be accompanied by live music by Elías Martínez, as well as original compositions by Guillermo “Goku” Illanes and Laura González.
The work, suitable for all audiences, will feature the participation of Juan Manuel Caballero, Florencia Cuello, Agostina Rodríguez, Érica Gutiérrez, Pilar Cortez, Celeste Roco Navea, Elías Martínez, Karen Galarza, Saulo Moreno, Gema Bueno, Lemuel Pérez, Juliana Ribeyrolles , Agustín Guzmán and Valentina Más as interpreters, but Fernando Torres will also be behind the scenes in lighting design, and Johny Combo together with Resguardo Laboratorio in costume design.
“What Do People Know?”, coordinated by Lean Bustos, will be presented on September 25 at 9:00 p.m. in Sala TES (Juan B. Justo 335 south), in Rivadavia.
Tickets can be purchased the day of the performance at the box office or in advance by event brite
