The Buenos aires city premiered a New method for make complaints remotely without the obligation to go to a police station. By means of a QR code an alert can be sent to the Buenos Aires security forces. The government led by Horacio Rodriguez Larreta will place decals on public transport (buses, subways and trains).
In their progress against crime, the city authorities decided to implement a new methodology so that the people of Buenos Aires can file complaints remotely, NA reported. The brand new presentation was made by the Minister of Security and Justice of the City, Marcelo D’Alessandro; Jorge Macri, Minister of the Buenos Aires Government and Manuela López, Secretary of Transportation and Public Works.
The tool will have two stages. In the first, 1915 rubbings will be placed on buses, trains, subways and taxis. Later, already in the second cycle, 7,000 stickers will be placed on the buses that run through the AMBA. The officials from Buenos Aires toured the bus units, talked with the drivers and made known how the new instrument works.
«It is important that people report, times change and it is necessary to rethink security policies and tools. This modality is added to the calls to 911 and the complaint booths inaugurated in subway stations, with the aim of simplifying and drastically reducing the processing times. This is a new sample of the deep commitment that together with Horacio we assume in the city»said Jorge Macri at the inauguration.
For his part, Marcelo D´Alessandro also wanted to give his point of view regarding the implementation: «This is one more possibility that citizens have to file complaints. For us it is very important that they file complaints and they can do so at any City Police station, in subway booths and shopping malls, also the 911 was adapted and now these QR Codes are added, “he sealed.
