This African competition will bring together riders aged 12 to 18 who will compete in two categories, cadets (12/14 years) and juniors (15/18 years). The Tunisian team will face fifteen other teams including those of Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire and Morocco.
After two years of training punctuated by the vagaries of the health crisis, the couples of riders with their horse have focused on preparing and strengthening their sporting and psychological skills. Motivated and ready, they have the ambition to get on the podium and bring the best possible ranking to Tunisia.
The horses will leave on March 17 from Tunis, accompanied by a team of experienced grooms, followed in real time by a specialized veterinarian who will welcome them and examine them on their arrival to accommodate them in optimum conditions offered by the Algerian Federation. The young riders, meanwhile, will leave Tunis on March 19 for 48 hours of acclimatization before the first events.
