The return to normal hours for all the activities of the national banking networkbetween 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., in response to the increased flexibility and the need to return to the conditions to strengthen the sector, ordered the Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions from Venezuela (Sudeban), through circular SIB.DSB.CJ.OD at 15 10.
In the communication it is recalled that through Circular SIB-DSB-CJ-OD-04237 dated August 9, 202O, by which on the occasion of Decree No. 4,161 of March 13, 2020, published in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No 6,519 Extraordinary of the same date, issued by the Maduro administration to address the health emergency generated by the COVID-19 and in strict adherence to economic protection measures, this Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions instructed the guidelines that would govern the periods of activity and strict quarantine of activities that involve direct attention to the public through agencies, ticket offices, offices and administrative headquarters of the institutions of the national banking sector.
In that sense, seeing the relaxation instructed by the regime as of November 1, 2021, with the purpose of activating and strengthening the economic and commercial sector of the country within the framework of the policy implemented to ensure the reactivation of the productive apparatus and given that the causes that motivated the administrative act contained in the aforementioned Circular, this Superintendency in accordance with articles 8, 67, 68 and 171 in number 26 of the Decree with Rank, Value and Force of Law of Institutions of the Banking Sector, instructs the full reestablishment of the activities that involve direct attention to the public through agencies, ticket offices, offices and administrative headquarters during their usual or regular hours, that is, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm; as well as the extended hours implemented for the provision of the service under special conditions, in accordance with the provisions of current legal regulations.
Consequently, as of this date, the guidelines established in the Circular of August 2020 respectively are waived, states the circular signed by the owner of the SudebanAntonio Morales Rodríguez dated March 18.
