Spaniard David Silva has been fined 1,000 euros for hitting a woman at a festival in Spain three months ago. The former City star who currently plays for Sociedad is under charges and being investigated.
The event that happened at a festival in Gran Canaria is affecting Silva a lot, which also risks imprisonment. According to “Tiempo de Canaria”, this decision was made due to numerous injuries.
Judge Francisco Javier Ramirez de Vergera stated in the decision that due to the footballer’s actions, the young woman suffered “post-traumatic pain in the cervix, an injury to the left elbow, and a wound to the second finger of the left hand, as and cuts on both knees and wounds on both legs”.
Manchester City confirms a statue of David Silva will be built outside the Etihad Stadium.
