Nagpur – India won by six wickets against Australia in a match that was shortened due to a wet outfield but the excitement did not diminish. In the second Twenty20 match, which was reduced to eight overs, India overcame the target of 91 runs set by the Aussies with the loss of four wickets in 7.2 overs.
Captain Rohit Sharma’s (46* off 20 balls) brilliant batting made India’s win easy. With this, both the teams got one win in the series. The Aussies had won the first match in Mohali. The final match will be played in Hyderabad on Sunday.

In the second over, opener Kamerur Green (5 off 4 balls) was run out by Virat Kohli and Steven Smith (8 off 5 balls) was run out by Harshal Patel in the last over. Other batsmen’s scores are Glenn Maxwell (nil) and Tim David (2).

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who received the toss, chose to field. The toss was delayed by two to three quarters of an hour due to a wet outfield. After three inspections, the umpires decided to reduce the match to eight overs. Powerplay is two overs. A bowler can bowl a maximum of two overs.
India, who lost the first match in Mohali, will come out with two changes. Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant have been included in the playing eleven while Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been dropped. There are two changes in the Aussie team. Nathan Ellis and Josh English were replaced by Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott.
