This Friday the 28th, date 15 of the Qualifiers was completed with the resounding victory of Peru 1-0 against Colombia in Barranquilla.
The goal was conquered by Edison Flores at minute 85 and in this way the Inca team manages, for the moment, to place itself in the direct classification zone, in fourth place. It reaches 20 points, one more than Uruguay, which after beating Paraguay (1-0) has 19 units and is in fifth position, which would force it to play a playoff to attend the World Cup.
For its part, Venezuela (last in the standings) thrashed Bolivia 4-1, in a match played in the city of Barinas.
The goals for the tenant were scored by: Salomón Rondón three times and Darwin Machís, while the discount for Bolivia was won by Bruno Miranda.
On the next date, Uruguay will have to face Venezuela in Montevideo, and Peru to Ecuador in Lima
Brazil leads the standings with 36 points. Argentina is second with 32. Ecuador is third with 24 and Peru is fourth with 20. Uruguay is fifth with 19 points.
