Price growth slowed down in the last months of 2022.
Accruals for housing and communal services, taking into account electricity for 2021, amounted to UAH 222.7 billion. This is 29.6% (50.9 billion hryvnia) more than in 2020 (171.8 billion hryvnia). RBC-Ukraine.
According to the statistical office, accruals increased rapidly almost throughout the year. Due to the high base of comparison, price growth slowed down in the last months of 2022.

In December 2021, the population of the country paid 21.6 billion for housing and communal services (71.1% of the amounts accrued over this period).

It should be noted that, according to a survey by the Rating Sociological Group, the majority of Ukrainians (59%) believe that with rising gas prices in Europe, tariffs in Ukraine should not increase, 33% noted that they may increase slightly, but the state should partially make up the difference. Only 5% said that tariffs should be set in line with market prices for energy resources.
