For the construction site By seawhich on March 1, 2023 will celebrate its first fifty years, participation in the exhibitions (the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022 and the Genoa International Boat Show at the gates) is this year more meaningful than ever. It is an opportunity to toast half a century of history, of Italian boating and of the Amerio family who – as Barbara, daughter of Fernando, founder and CEO of the Permare Group, and sister of Rodolfo (“Dodo”) told us, in the photo together with Noemie Amerio – has invested everything in boating, showing insight, passion and unity.
«We have lived through three crises and two booms together, we have overcome difficult moments and rejoiced for the successes and countless awards. We have grown thanks to capital shareholders who believed in the development project of a Ligurian brand and who, bringing home profits, have guaranteed us growth. We invested our share in the repurchase of the shares until we became sole owners of our companies. An organic growth, therefore, without the intervention of Fondi ». A united family that manages to work together and that is reaching an important milestone, an entrepreneurial and family goal built always looking ahead and aiming at substantive content, values and ideals. The same ones that earned her a new recognition, that of the construction site of the year 2022, received at Cannes Yachting Festival which ended on 11 September last. An award that is a tribute to “a fifty-year journey that touches three generations who work together with a great passion for the sea and with an extraordinary relationship built on respect and loyalty towards employees, suppliers, collaborators and partners” .
The Amerio family thanks them all, together with the customers who over the years have shown their trust and appreciation for the research and innovation that have always been the basis of Permare production. The invitation from Sanremo is unanimous: «We look forward to seeing you at Genoa, our favorite salon, to celebrate together the 50th anniversary of business and present the latest news ». In this regard, the shipyard had already announced last June the construction of the first Amer 70 Steel, a custom unit commissioned by an esteemed European customer. The displacement hull with contemporary lines, born from the creative flair of Antonio Luxardo, will have low consumption and very generous spaces with aesthetic characteristics that will make it stylistically innovative. The project was entrusted to Optima, the La Spezia studio with which the shipyard is fruitfully collaborating. The interiors were instead designed by the studio Luxury Projectson the initiative of the eclectic Laura Pomponi, who is also involved with the Sanremo shipyard on another project.
In addition to the new steel segment, the team dedicated to composite is strengthened, which has managed to scale up the type of construction of the Amer 120 and extend it to the entire range produced. The historic group includes Massimo Verme, Stefano Tini and Andrea Ramasco, who this year will be particularly committed to completing the numerous projects Amer Yachts with deliveries scheduled until the end of 2023.
It is appropriate to say that the season of love for the sea (and for the family) is handed down from generation to generation, and desires do not age with age, but are renewed at each milestone. Happy birthday Permare!
