
Swedish cosmetics company Oriflame in Russia is suspending investments in marketing, training and events, as well as the opportunity for unregistered users to buy products online. This was reported by the company.
“Due to a number of operational and legal difficulties, Oriflame does not consider it possible to continue in its current form and has to take additional measures to reduce and discontinue certain activities in Russia, including the company suspending investments in marketing, training and activities. “Oriflame also terminates the ability for unregistered users to purchase the product online,” the statement said.
The company clarified that the brand partners can continue to operate, but taking into account all the adopted changes. Earlier, the Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri wrote that the company remains in Russia and will continue sales to support consultants-sellers in the country.
