By paving seven streets in Shanghai, the road infrastructure in this Batajnica settlement has been completed, it was announced from the Municipality of Zemun.
As part of the uncategorized road improvement program, the streets Velika međe nova 16 and nova 22, then Businjski bara 3rd part, Miroslava Veličkovića, Aleksandar Makedonski, Stevan Simića and Miša Dimitrijevića were covered with asphalt.
In the previous period, the City Municipality of Zemun asphalted nearly 400 streets, branches, driveways, paths and sidewalks in all Zemun settlements.
Road infrastructure works are carried out continuously. In addition to the construction of new traffic connections, thorough work is being done on the revitalization of existing roadways, especially those streets that are the most frequented and belong to public transport routes.
Another playground in Batajnica
In Batajnički žrtava Street 1, a playground covering an area of slightly more than one thousand and a half square meters has been completed, announced the Municipality of Zemun.
The new playground in Batajnica is protected from traffic, has a lighted driveway, access paths and furniture intended for all generations. The part for the youngest is equipped with see-saws, a slide and swings on rubberized surfaces, new lamps and concrete benches for companions. In the central part of the playground, there is a concrete basketball court, which is equipped with a basket and fenced according to regulations so as not to endanger the surrounding gardens. In the third segment of the playground there is a hayloft with a table for social games, as well as four concrete benches.
When the weather permits, additional green areas will be arranged.
Good lighting with solar lamps, connection with paths and green areas will only make this hidden pocket of Batajnica a frequented area for safe children’s play, sporting joys and socializing.
The arrangement and creation of the playground was financed from the budget of the City Municipality of Zemun, the municipality announced.
