Ingredients for Mawa Kachori
- 500 grams – flour
- 75 grams- Ghee
- Baking soda
- 500 grams- Mawa
- 1 gram- large cardamom powder
- 3 grams- nutmeg powder
- 1 pinch- clove powder
- 1 pinch- mace powder
- 25 grams – Almonds finely chopped
- 20 grams – Pistachios finely chopped
- 500 grams- sugar
- 250 grams- water-
- few saffron threads
- ghee for frying
Mawa Shortbread Recipe
1- First of all, knead the dough for the shortbread. For this, put 1 pinch of baking soda and ghee in the flour after heating it. Now knead the dough by adding water and knead it softly.
2- To prepare the filling of shortbread, heat a pan, add mawa and fry it for 5 minutes. When the mawa cools down, mix all the spices and dry fruits.
3- Now prepare the syrup. For this, boil sugar and water in a pan and prepare a wire syrup.
4- To prepare the shortbread, take a dough from the dough and roll it lightly. Put 1 tbsp of filling in it and close it. Raise or roll the kachoris lightly with your hand. Keep preparing all the kachoris in the same way.
5- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the kachoris golden on low flame.
6- Now before serving, make a hole in the shortbread and put sugar syrup on top and keep it for 10 minutes.
7- Serve hot mawa kachori. They look very tasty to eat.
