According to Khazaradze, no collaborationist should be appointed to a position in state institutions, and this should be controlled by law.
“In recent months, against the backdrop of the Ukrainian war, lustration of people is taking place intensively. many have taken off their masks, the public has clearly seen the advocates and supporters of Russian policy,” Khazaradze stated.
It should be noted that the lustration law stipulates the restriction of access to work in the state service and local self-government bodies for persons who held leadership positions during the previous political regimes, as well as were employees of the special services of the former USSR, or for persons who are suspected are in corruption.
