This is how the Maison’s new boutique in Paris, inaugurated on March 6 after more than two years of construction, welcomes its welcome.
The address 30 Montaigne, in the heart of the French capital, returns to be the home of the brand after that Dior he was enchanted by it, over 75 years ago. The collections that made the Maison the emblem of Parisian elegance and French haute couture were born within the walls of this hôtel particulier.
The new boutique, designed by the architect Peter Marino, spreads over over 10,000 squares. An extraordinary “refuge of wonders”, as Monsieur would have described it Dior. In a perfect balance between neoclassical style and contemporary purity, 30 Montaigne celebrates the multiplicity of savoir-faire, art de vivre, gastronomy and culture. A modern and multifaceted showcase that inside presents a boutique, dotted with works of art and exclusive creations; an alcove entirely dedicated to beauty, perfumes and well-being; «Galerie Dior», a tribute to the founder’s first vocation as a gallerist, enlarged by the narrative scenography of Nathalie Crinière; the haute couture and haute joaillerie ateliers, a reflection of Dior excellence; “Le Restaurant Monsieur Dior” and “La Pâtisserie Dior” both infused with the creativity of the French chef Jean Imbert; three gardens that have seen the collaboration of designer Peter Wirtz; and finally “The Dior Suite” to spend a memorable night in the name of hospitality à la française.
The enchanting new aura of this building steeped in history – from its majestic Grand Escalier to its iconic Cabine, subtly restored to its original state – promises a timeless experience, inviting visitors on a delightfully unexpected and unprecedented journey that cannot to have lived “nowhere else”.
