The Prime Minister of Lithuania, Ingrida Simonyte, has said that Russia’s claims about a railway blockade of its territorial post in Kaliningrad are a “lie”.
She writes that all the goods needed for the people living in the Kaliningrad Region, such as food, pharmaceuticals, etc., are being transported.
“Any talk of a blockade of Kaliningrad is a lie. Lithuania is in line with the sanctions imposed by the European Union on Russia for its aggression and war in Ukraine.
“Sanctions were approved by all EU member states on March 15. All other goods needed for people living in the Kaliningrad region, food, pharmaceuticals, etc., are being transported,” Simonyte wrote.
