Merida students announced to leonardo gonzalez as its new technical director, with an agreement for two seasons.

González directed Deportivo Lara last season and in the second part of 2021 he acted as interim at Vinotinto, in the current World Cup qualifiers.

Students confirmed that the rest of the coaching staff will be made up of Pedro Vera and Lewis González as technical assistants, Javier Covela and Edgar Salazar as physical trainers, Yean Carlos Goldstein as video analyst and José Rodríguez as goalkeeping coach.
