The exhibition, one of the largest ever, begins in the spring of 2023
Dresses worn by Lady Gaga and Lizzo will be displayed at Kensington Palace. The royal residence, which is home to Prince William, his wife Kate and their children, is expected to open an exhibition which will feature a wealth of historical memorabilia around the palace alongside bits and pieces from the modern lives of celebrities, including clothes worn by them.
A statement from the royal palace said the exhibition will be one of the largest ever and aims to tell the story of how “rules and politics” have played a role in modern-day fashion.
The exhibition will open in spring 2023 and will feature the stunning outfits of stars such as Lady Gaga and Lizzo alongside beautiful historical costumes, drawing parallels between the world of the red carpet and the Royal Hall of the 18th century.
