This Sunday, a newborn baby was found dead abandoned in a solid waste area located on the corner of the east side of Plaza Juan Pedro López, in Las Mercedes, in Caracas.
More than a dozen officials attached to the Corps of Criminal and Criminalistic Scientific Investigations (cicpc) and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB).
The officials carried out the lifting of the baby’s body and transferred it to the headquarters of the forensic medicine.

In another incident, officials from the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) detained a man in Güiria, in the state of Sucre; him after being accused of beating his wife and his daughters, ages 10 and 14, with the handle of a machete.
The information was confirmed this Saturday, March 19, by the director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, who specified that the detainee was identified as Vladimir Valentin Carrera, 42 years old, apprehended by members of the Güiria Municipal Delegation, in the La Victoria sector.
“During the investigations carried out by the officials, it was learned that the man was beating the mother of the minors, who suffers from Autism Spectrum Syndrome, and they intervened in the violent episodes. They were also beaten by the man,” Rico detailed through his official account on the social network Instagram.
