H2O ․ The exhibition will focus on the preservation of Armenian culture in Russia, the United States and Europe
REVAN, FEBRUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. An interactive exhibition entitled H2O Emotional Exposition, spiced with elements of fashion, took place at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The author of the exhibition is the founder of the famous brand Kivera Naynomis Ar-Simon Simonyan. The idea was not to display clothes, but to emphasize the importance of preserving Armenian culture. Arusyak Stepanyan, the founder of “Arunik” fund, also took a direct part in the implementation.
“We can present ourselves to the world with our culture, we have the potential to see and spread the beautiful. Especially after these recent events, we realized that we are in danger of losing principles and values. Maybe I’m the mother of 4 boys, that’s why I think so. However, I think this is a universal pain, “says Ar-Simon Simonyan.
The designer divided the hall of the Sports and Concert Complex into 8 halls. Each was presented under one title: “Heaven”, “Birth”, “Baptism”, “Blessing”, “Sin”, “Pain”, “Loss”, “Emptiness”. And all this was presented so vividly that the spectator, entering those rooms, immediately perceived which hall he was in.
“Man is an emotion, a prayer, an element. Man is a faith. And the Armenian way is together. “I want the audience to come out of this show not to say ‘it was an interesting show’, but to take with them the idea of reviewing, valuing and valuing what we have,” says Arik.
The idea for the show was born in the post-war period.
“I wanted to show not just the war, which is a great pain, but to emphasize that we are a people from whom the war takes very important things. We wanted to show the way of human life, arguing that everything depends on our choice. That is why we must choose the good, and next to it is our church, our faith, “Arevik Simonyan said.
The exhibition is entitled H2O ․ water on which our lives depend. “In war, tears, we rejoice, we have tears. We cry, tears come to our eyes, and there is water at our baptism. In creating this collection, we tried to present the idea in a way that was understandable. This is more of an emotional exhibition than a clothing exhibition, “said Arusyak Stepanyan, co-author of the idea and founder of the Arunik Foundation.
Unlike previous shows of the Kivera Naynomis brand, in the case of H2O, the clothes were not shown on the models, they were displayed on mannequins. And the presented samples were not wearable clothes, but works of art.
The reason for the fact that the costumes of the exhibition were presented not through models, but through mannequins, the founder of “Arunik” cultural development fund explained as follows. “The idea was that a person would eventually be emptied and leave his body. Of course, we did not need a human to present this idea. “
Arevik Simonyan assures that the core of this exhibition is not just a collection, but our faith, the first Armenian in the world to convert to Christianity. Arusyak Stepanyan mentioned that the blue and white colors are specially chosen.
The exhibition will be presented in Russia, the USA and Europe.
