Few people know the real name of Ilda Shaulic

We all know the singer Ilda Shaulic by that name, but it is only her stage name, and the real name is Ilduza.

Her name is of Arabic origin which means “lucky star” and is a variant of the name Yilduza. It is little known that Shaban’s daughter was named after her grandmother Ilduza Demirovic, Shaban’s mother, who herself could boast of a beautiful voice.

– I inherited my talent from my mother. She sang a lot. When she starts singing, the whole neighborhood listens to her. I always wondered how she knew Spanish. I remember that she sang the song “La pico nera”. It’s a beautiful song. Father, she and I ride the train, and she starts singing. When she stood in the middle of the van and started singing, how big she was. I’m watching her. Like a big house, she stood and sang. She explained everything with her hands. I never asked her how she knew that song – Saban Saulic said in the show “From the profile” on TV “Grand” a few years ago.
