For the fourth day in a row in our country is not registered any loss of life from coronavirus. The Ministry of Health reports that in the last 24 hours 48 citizens have been infected, while 45 have been cured.
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCOVID vaccines, the ministry emphasizes, reduce the possibility of infection and avoid hospitalizations and fatalities to a large extent.
“Every citizen over 12 years old can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point. Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or concentrated vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third boosting dose, according to the recommendation of the family doctor.
“If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127”, it is said in the announcement.
SITUATION IN 24 HOURS
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 864 tests were performed, of which 48 citizens were positive with COVID19, in the following municipalities:
19 in Tirana, 7 in Fier, 3 Himara, Saranda, 2 in Kukës, Delvinë, Kuçovë, 1 in Has, Kavaja, Patos, Lushnje, Mallakastër, Gjirokastër, Dropull, Përmet, Memaliaj, Korçë.
There are 617 active COVID-19 patients nationwide.
Currently 31 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 6 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with SARS-COV2.
45 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 268,984 since the beginning of the epidemic.
