MONTEVIDEO (Uypress)– This Sunday, March 6, 6,021 tests were carried out, of which 1,205 were positive for covid-19. 6 deaths were registered, there are 13,605 active cases and 110 people are in critical care centers.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 6,021 tests were carried out and 1,205 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 1,205 new cases, 642 are from Montevideo, 195 from Canelones, 89 from Maldonado, 42 from Colonia, 34 from Lavalleja, 31 from Paysandú, 29 from San José, 22 from Artigas, 21 from Rivera, 20 from Rocha, 14 from Durazno, 12 from Cerro Largo, 12 from Flores, 11 from Salto, 9 from Treinta y Tres, 7 from Soriano, 6 from Tacuarembo, 5 from Florida and 4 from Río Negro.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 5,759,420 tests have been processed and 854,375 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 833,724 have already recovered.
Today, 6 deaths diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 were registered in our country (detailed table is attached). So far there are 7,046 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 13,605 active cases, that is, people who are experiencing the disease, 110 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total confirmed positive cases, 18,676 correspond to health personnel. 18,395 of them have already recovered, 252 are suffering from the disease and 29 have died.
To date, all departments register active cases.
