MONTEVIDEO (Uypress) – This Tuesday, 14,745 tests were carried out, of which 4,418 were positive for covid-19. There are 34,666 active cases, of which 141 are hospitalized in critical care centers. This Tuesday, 10 deaths diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), this Tuesday, February 22, 14,745 tests were carried out and 4,418 new cases of covid-19 were detected, of which 1,880 are from Montevideo, 650 from Canelones, 369 from Colonia, 177 from Tacuarembo, 174 from Maldonado, 153 from Cerro Largo, 122 from Florida, 120 from San José, 99 from Salto, 96 from Treinta y Tres, 94 from Rivera, 82 from Artigas, 77 from Rocha, 65 from Paysandú, 64 from Lavalleja, 57 from Soriano, 47 from Durazno, 47 from Flores and 45 from Río Negro.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 5,641,299 tests have been processed and 823,784 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 782,213 have already recovered.
This Tuesday, 10 deaths diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 were registered in our country. So far there are 6,905 deaths with a diagnosis of covid-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 34,666 active cases and 141 people are in critical care centers.
To date, all departments register active cases.
