MONTEVIDEO (Uypress)– This Sunday, July 25, 126 covid-19 positives were detected out of a total of 5,544 tests, 4 deaths were confirmed, 2,678 people have the disease, 82 of them in intensive care.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), 5,544 tests were carried out today and 126 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 126 new cases, 70 from Montevideo, 18 from Canelones, 10 from Colonia, 9 from Maldonado, 5 from Artigas, 5 from Paysandú, 4 from Salto, 2 from Treinta y Tres, 1 from Cerro Largo, 1 from Rivera and 1 of Soriano.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,013,237 tests have been processed and 380,431 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 371,822 have already recovered.
Today, 4 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country (detailed table is attached). So far there are 5,931 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 2,678 active cases, that is, people who are experiencing the disease, 82 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total confirmed positive cases, 8,864 correspond to health personnel. 8,784 of them have already recovered, 52 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
To date, Flores does not register active cases, so there are 18 departments with people with the disease.
The total number of confirmed positive cases as of yesterday was 380,311. Today 126 new cases are reported and a total of 380,431 confirmed positive cases. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 6 cases were eliminated.
