MONTEVIDEO (Uypress) – This Friday, 9,975 tests were carried out, of which 2,191 were positive for covid-19. There are 15,766 active cases, of which 120 are hospitalized in critical care centers. This Friday, 17 deaths diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), this Friday, March 4, 9,975 tests were carried out and 2,191 new cases of covid-19 were detected, of which 980 are from Montevideo, 344 from Canelones, 132 from Colonia, 111 from Maldonado, 85 from San José, 55 from Cerro Largo, 48 from Lavalleja, 45 from Tacuarembo, 43 from Durazno, 43 from Florida, 43 from Rocha, 42 from Rivera, 41 from Salto, 32 from Río Negro , 32 from Soriano, 30 from Paysandú, 29 from Flores, 28 from Artigas and 28 from Treinta y Tres.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 5,743,270 tests have been processed and 851,241 positive cases of coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 828,444 have already recovered.
This Friday, 17 deaths diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 were registered in our country. So far there are 7,031 deaths with a diagnosis of covid-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 15,766 active cases and 120 people are in critical care centers.
To date, all departments register active cases.
