Chances of going down to Rs.10-12 per litre
New Delhi, August 5: The common people who are suffocating due to the increase in prices will get some relief. Soon cooking oil prices will be reduced from Rs.10 to Rs.12 per litre. The manufacturing companies have agreed to provide those benefits to consumers in the face of reduced international prices. According to the national media, the representatives of the cooking oil manufacturing companies disclosed this after a meeting with the officials of the Union Food and Consumer Affairs Department on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Adani Wilmar Company has recently reduced cooking oil prices by Rs.30 per litre. The company, which sells its products under the Fortune brand, has slashed prices of soya oils. However, due to the recent fall in international prices, the Union Food Ministry asked the Union Food Ministry to take a decision on revising the prices, and the manufacturers responded positively.
