It’s been a few days alreadyActivision gradually unveils the next season of call of duty warzone and its novelties. The time has come to discover all the details with the official roadmap, which also presents the content planned for Vanguard.
Warzone: release and novelties of season 4
First of all, know that you can download the update for Vanguard from June 21 at 6 p.m.. That of Warzone will arrive at the same time the next day, thus marking the launch of season 4 dubbed “Mercenaries of Fortune”. The first big novelty is the addition of the Resurgence map “Fortune’s Keep” in the battle royale. This will cohabit with Rebirth Island and Caldera via the rotation of weekly playlists.
Speaking of Caldera, changes are planned. We especially note the return from Storage Town (an area from Verdansk), modifications for around ten points of interest, the addition of EMP grenadesa reduction in vegetation for better visibility and the arrival of armored SUVs (during the season).
Also on the menu: the limited-time mode “Gold Loot” with 120 players. The objective is to raise 5 million dollars by obtaining cash via vending machines and the corpses of your victims. The Mercenaries of Fortune Event will offer eight challenges to complete on Caldera and Fortune’s Keep.
Squads compete for the jackpot, and you’ll need all the information you can get to pull it off.

We end with what’s new from Vanguard. The list is rather extensive: two maps (USS Texas 1945 and Desolation), one mode (Weapons game plan), three operators (Carver Butcher, Callum Hendry and Ikenna Olowe) and four weapons (Marco 5, UGM-8, Dagger and Vargo-S) are planned. On the Zombies side, the Shi No Numa map is back with a new multi-step main quest and a marvelous weapon. See you on June 22 to discover this season 4.
