The public utility company Beogradske Elektrane presented today 13 recommendations for reducing the consumption of electricity and thermal energy, among which is the proposal to consider moving the beginning and end of the heating season in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Serbia.
“We need to consider the transition of the beginning and the end of the season, saglasno krisnim sedii”, said the director of Rade Basta in a written statement.

Uštede can, as mentioned, increase the maintenance of equipment as well as reduce the loss of thermal energy and chemically prepared water, increase the inspection of the distribution network.
Preduzeće proposes to cooperate with consumers in order to inform about possible reduction of consumption and loss of thermal energy.
The company itself, as recommended, should limit fuel consumption for the use of official vehicles and turn off decorative and other non-functional oil, replace inefficient LED lights, where possible.
According to the recommendations, employees must turn off lighting, computers and printers at the end of their working hours.
