The incumbent chairman of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, read a statement on behalf of the Parliamentary Group after the resignation of Lulzim Basha, where, among other things, he called on “Foltores” to take a step back by removing Sali Berisha.
Following this statement, the Re-establishment Commission reacted with a statement stating that “Basha’s latest act marks his endless procrastination, without any kind of argumentation and no taking of responsibility.
With all this, this is a good opportunity to unite Democrats through the institution of free voting. Now is not the time to issue “ultimatums” or unvoted statements by appointees and dismissals.
The nominees of the seal, dismissed from the historic assembly of December 11, 2021, are seeking to play with the bluff believing that they can hold hostage the PD symbols and impose conditions according to the philosophy of the resigned or his nominees in the PD -ne e Vules.
“Now is not the time to deepen the rift, but to start an open, honest and unifying process that certainly goes only through the free vote of the Democrats!” stated among other things in the statement. © LAPSI.al
